We’re three mates—family and lifelong friends—brought together by our shared passion for the great outdoors. Growing up in rural Central Queensland, weekends were spent camping under the stars, hitting dusty 4x4 tracks, and exploring the rugged beauty of our backyard. That love for adventure never left us—and it's what inspired us to start Amaroo.
Now based out of Brisbane and Coolum Beach, we’ve grown from a small idea into a full-blown warehouse operation. Whether it’s remote camping gear, off-road essentials, or adventure-ready accessories, we’re here to help Aussies get out and enjoy the wild with gear they can trust.
We named our store Amaroo—an Indigenous word meaning beautiful land—because that’s exactly what Australia is to us. From the red dirt of the outback to the coastlines of Queensland, we’re endlessly inspired by this incredible country.
